Halpern graduated from Temple University in 1984 and graduated from Delaware Law School at Widener University in 1987. Upon completing law school, he spent one year clerking for the Honorable Michael R. Stiles of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Halpern began advocating for asbestos victims as an associate at a leading Philadelphia personal injury firm. He now has his own firm and continues his work for clients harmed by asbestos.
Dave Halpern has devoted his legal career to representing victims. Asbestos exposure often occurred on the job and impacted workers who had no idea of the risks. They later developed devastating, often deadly diseases, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, and asbestosis.
Halpern works with his clients to get justice for the damage caused. He ensures that companies at fault for this exposure are held accountable. He is involved in every part of each client’s case, including investigations, discovery, site inspections, depositions, and meeting with and preparing clients.
Asbestos and mesothelioma impact people in many different careers, but especially manufacturing jobs. Halpern has represented people who worked with and came into contact with asbestos in many industries and workplaces:
