About Jerri
Originally from Welsh, Louisiana, Jerri hails from deep Bayou Cajun country, a place with rich history dating back to the late 1800s when Miles Welsh first settled there to escape the cold of Pennsylvania. She moved to Texas at an early age and graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.
When she’s not hard at work, Jerri enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, spending quality time with her friends and family, and playing with her two fur babies. She’s also a fan of cruising the high seas – a perfect way to unwind!
Jerri’s Experience
Jerri’s career in the legal field began way back in 1976 when she was a part of a high school vocational program. Her first role was with the Provost Umphrey Law Firm, where she was responsible for maintaining the asbestos files. After graduating from high school in 1979, Jerri worked for the District Attorney’s Office and then the Sheriff’s Office. In March 2010, she returned to Provost Umphrey as an Asbestos Claims Specialist.
For the past 8 months, Jerri has brought her wealth of experience to our firm as a Trust Claims Specialist, where she continues to serve clients with dedication and care.
