Ryan Phillips brings nearly a decade of dedicated experience in asbestos litigation to the Halpern Law Firm. Licensed in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Louisiana, Ryan has built a strong reputation for managing complex mesothelioma cases and advocating fiercely on behalf of asbestos exposure victims.
Before joining our team, Ryan served as a lead attorney at a national asbestos firm where he conducted over 100 depositions, successfully argued hundreds of motions, and played a key role in numerous high-stakes trials and appeals. He’s also the only attorney outside of the firm’s founder who attended every trial over a multi-year span.
In addition to his courtroom achievements, Ryan is passionate about asbestos history and science, maintaining a personal library of rare research materials that informs his work. His strategic litigation approach and deep subject matter knowledge make him a powerful asset to our clients and our firm.
Ryan earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University and his B.A. from Slippery Rock University. He continues to contribute to the field through speaking engagements, including at national asbestos litigation seminars.
