Lisa Matthews

Lisa is the Accounting Manager at The Halpern Law Firm and is responsible for handling all financial matters and making sure clients’ settlement funds are disbursed in a timely and accurate manner.

Lisa has over 10 years of bookkeeping and business office management experience working for small businesses and non-profits. Her non-profit experience includes presenting financial statements to the Board of Directors and preparing for yearly audits. Some of her accomplishments include implementing new partnerships and programs with hospitals and other non-profit organizations that support a medical clinic that serves the uninsured. She also Chaired the Healthcare Committee of a Latino outreach organization. All these initiatives benefited uninsured patients by giving them access to free medical care, diagnostic tests, and free OBGYN services, including labor and delivery.

Outside of work, Lisa spends time with her college-aged son and daughter, practices yoga and goes on many hikes.
