Our newest Trust Claims Specialist Jerri Waller began her career in the legal field at age 16 through a high school work program. She worked for the original Provost Umphrey Law Firm. After graduating high school, her career path led her to working in the legal field in both defense and prosecution. In 1980, Jerri enrolled in the first Paralegal classes in Jefferson County, Texas at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas and received her certificate of graduation in 1982.

Fourteen years ago, she returned to her hometown and went back to work for Provost Umphrey Law Firm as an Asbestos Specialist. Her many years in the legal profession have provided her with extensive experience in investigation, trial preparation, trial testimony, to conclusion of the case.

Jerri’s experience has led her to develop the necessary skills to have an exceptional rapport with clients, co-workers, attorneys, and judges.

Jerri is passionate about her Cajun heritage, she is a long-time member of Southeast Texas Mardi Gras, she belongs to two Krewes, and looks forward to celebrating Mardi Gras each year. Jerri is just as passionate about giving back to her community and is an original member of Southeast Texas Circle of Hope, a 501c organization that performs benefits for those with catastrophic medical expenses. Jerri and her husband love spending time with their daughter and son-in-law and especially love spoiling their only grandson. They enjoy cruising, and in between cruises they enjoy spending their weekends at their lake home with their 2 fur babies Macie Mae and Bella Rose.
