Brenna Lawler graduated from Allegheny College in 2021, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Communications and Economics. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University in 2024 and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. While at Duquesne, Brenna was an active member of the Women’s Law Association and mentored first-year female law students during her third year.

 She participated in the university’s Trial Advocacy Program and received an award for Outstanding Oral Argument. Brenna served as both a teaching assistant and research assistant for the “Professional Responsibility” course, focusing on legal ethics. Her commitment to supporting fellow students extended beyond graduation, Brenna remains involved with Duquesne’s Bar Preparation programs, where she mentors students, speaks on exam panels, and previously served as a teaching assistant for the bar prep courses. Brenna has prior experience in asbestos litigation and plans to continue building her career in this field, bringing dedication, professionalism, and a strong ethical foundation to her work at the Halpern Law Firm.
