Jorge Navarro Jr. is a J.D. Candidate at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law, graduating in May 2025. Jorge was Team Captain of Villanova’s inaugural Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot Team. Jorge is also actively involved in several student organizations, including the Latin American Law Students Association and the Sports Law Society.

Jorge’s legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Extern at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, where he assists with legal research and writing memos for civil cases. He also worked as a Legal Research Assistant at Jingtian & Gongcheng in Beijing, focusing on cross-border commercial disputes. Additionally, he has experience in teaching and client relations, having worked as an ESL Instructor in South Korea and an administrative assistant at American Family Insurance.

Jorge has volunteered as a Student Attorney at the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee & Emigrant Services, and trained staff on U.S. immigration law in Mexico with the Migrant Justice Program. He is also the co-founder of the Best Friends Animal Society Naperville Action Team, promoting animal welfare in his community and actively involved in Animal Law Society and a writer for the International Law Blog. Jorge’s diverse experience and dedication to public service make him a valuable addition to the Halpern Law Firm as a law clerk.
